The concept

Flowers are the base of every dish, not the decoration.

Every dish is built around an edible flower: real, picked to be cooked with. The result is food full of colour. Hearty protein bowls, veggie burgers that actually fill you up, brunch that makes no apology for being good for you. In a space that's also a shop for Portuguese craft goods.

The chef

The kitchen you'll taste. The chef you may not expect.

Rui Sequeira earned 1 Michelin star at Alameda restaurant in Faro. He is also the chef who created and signs the menu at The Flower Bar, alongside Cristina, who conceived the concept, the space and the edible flower identity. They're family, and two different projects. The same demands in the kitchen, in a brunch format.
